Ray Carl Hullinger Jr.

SOUTH BEND - Ray C. Hullinger Jr., 91, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at his home on January 15, 2016. Ray was born on March 24, 1924 to the late Ray Sr. and Inez Hullinger.

On February 21, 1948 he married Doris. K Platts who preceded him in death on September 20, 2000. He was also preceded in death by one brother William Hullinger.

Ray is survived by his daughter Heather D. Long (Don) of South Bend, Indiana. Also surviving is his brother Robert Hullinger of Niles, Michigan.

Visitation will be from 11:00 until 2:00 P.M on Thursday January 21, 2016 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home 3545 N. Bendix Dr. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M on January 21. Interment will follow at Riverview cemetery.

Ray was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisher, and golfer. He worked for the Studebaker Company for many years. Ray also was a greens keeper at the South Bend Country Club. He served in the United States army in Germany during World War 2. Ray will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.
