Thomas Daugherty
Thomas Daugherty, 74, of 3494 Sea Holly Lane, St. James, Fla., died: at 5:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, in Ft. Myers, Fla.
He was a retired payload integration engineer with Lockheed at the Kennedy Space Center, and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ballew Daugherty; one daughter, Glenda Hutton, Hoonah, Alaska; one brother, Brighton Daugherty, of Hawaii; two sisters, Lillian Stuart, San Antonio, Tex., and Gladys Bussler; and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Katherine (Tries) Daugherty.
Services for Mr. Daugherty will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Byrn Chapel in Mayfield, with the Rev. David Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in Mayfield Memory Gardens. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield.
