Evelyn Fay (Cooper) Zolman

SOUTH BEND Evelyn F. Zolman, 70, of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of South Bend, died Saturday in Springfield. Mrs. Zolman retired in 1982 from Springfield City Schools after 30 years of service as a teacher. She was born April 27, 1924, in Huntington, W.Va.

As Evelyn Cooper, she married Joe R. Zolman in 1946. He died in 1968.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hatfield and Connie Russell, both of Springfield; two sons, Richard R. and Robert W., both of Springfield; and two brothers, Robert R. Cooper of Palo Alto, Calif., and Edward H. Cooper of Springfield.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Conroy Funeral Home, Springfield. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
