Betty Louise Treisback, 87, of Bloomington, IN passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012. She was born September 22, 1924 in South Bend, IN the daughter of the late Bert and Lela Clark.
Betty was a charter member of the Bloomington Community Band, and a longtime member of the Bloomington Brass Band. She was also active with many other bands in the surrounding communities. She taught high school business classes at Unionville High School, Bloomington North High School and Bloomington South High School. Betty enjoyed playing the french horn, baritone, and the piano. She will deeply missed by her family and friends.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Arthur Robert (Judy) Treisback and John (Peggy) Treisback; her daughter, Susan (Stanley) Smith; and four grandchildren, Anthony, Jennifer, Sarah, and Nathan Smith.
Graveside services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Day Funeral Home in Bloomington, IN.
