Robert G. Weihrouch

Robert G. Weihrouch, 73, of Okatie, husband of Marion T. Weihrouch, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Savannah.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Anderson Funeral Home, Beaufort. Services will be at 2 p.m. in the funeral home, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Weihrouch was born Jan. 18, 1928, in Chicago, a son of Phillip Alex and Edith Mills Weihrouch. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois and UCLA. He was a member ( of Sinfonia and Beta Gamma Sigma. He served in the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army and achieved the rank of staff sergeant. He retired from Dow Chemical Co. after 30 years. He was a member of Haddonfield Masonic Lodge, Haddonfield, N.J, PWM, and was past grand conservator of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey. He was a member of Collingswood Consistory and Sea Island Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife of Callawassie; four sons, John Weihrouch of Tucson, Ariz., James Weihrouch of Naperville, Ill., Phillip Weihrouch of Kentfield, Calif., and Steven Weihrouch of Clifton, Va. and two sisters, Helen W. Petersen of South Bend, Ind., and Mary Jo W. Reed of Buffalo Grove, Ill.
