Sarieta Josephine (Peterson) Petzke

Sarieta Josephine Petzke, 59, of 720 Fairway St., died at 10:55 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, after an illness. Mrs.
Petzke was an employee of 1st Source Bank in the personal loan department. She was born Jan. 28, 1927, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On Dec. 29, 1966, in South Bend, she married Ernst S. Petzke, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Jeanine D. Petzke of South Bend, Patricia J. Barnes of Chandler, Ariz., and Penny J. Wels of Martinsville, Ind.; four sons, Ernst S. Petzke II and Kevin J. Petzke, both of South Bend, Alex S. Snyder II of Nashville, Ind., and Roger A. Najdek of South Bend; 14 grand-children; a sister, Elinor Costello of New Carlisle; a brother, Lloyd E. Peterson of Jones, Mich.; and her mother, Gertrude M. Peterson of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

She was a graduate of the former Central High School, a member of Central Alumni Band and attended Indiana Vocational Technical
College -- Northcentral.
