He retired in 1992. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame football and Chicago Cubs baseball.

The family would like to express our sincere and deepest appreciation to the entire staff at Healthwin Specialized Care and our special angels for their constant love and care of our father and his family (you know who you are!). The family will receive friends and share memories of Lawrence on Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home on Cleveland Road.

Funeral services at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, to Pet
Refuge, to Father Gene Wegner, O.F.M., or to the charity of your choice.

Our father, grandfather and great-grandfather was very dear to us and to the many people whose lives he touched. He will be missed but his memory will live on.
