EDWARDSBURG - Services for Charles O'Brien. 51. of Richard Pleasant Lake, who died Sunday morning as the result of carbon monoxide poisoning at his home, will be Wednesday in the Paul E. at 2 p.m. Mayhew Funeral Home. the Rev. Irving Bame, pastor of Church of God, will officiate. Burial in Edwardsburg Cemeterv. will be Friends may call from 3:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. His death is under investigation by the Edwardsburg Police Department.
Born Dec. 27, 1926, he moved to Edwardsburg 18 years ago.
On Feb. 7, 1951, in Bryan, Ohio, he married Maxine Heltzel, who died Jan 16. 1975.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Smith of Edwardsburg; a grandchild; a sister. Mrs. Elmer Bertrem of Valparaiso; three brothers, Jim of Denver, Colo.; Jack and George, both of South Bend.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Edwardsburg Legion and the Elkhart American Moose Lodge. He was employed 22 years by Skyline Corp.
