Dolores T. Derucki Oct. 6, 1927 - Jan. 22, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Dolores T. Derucki, 87, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 in her home. She was born on October 6, 1927 to the late John S. and Cecelia (Kubacki) Derucki in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Stanley Derucki, Irene Kaczmierczak, Raymond Derucki, Florence Watkins, and Donna Jackson.

Dolores graduated in 1945 from Central High School.

Ms. Derucki retired in 1990 from Bendix Corp., after working 10 years as a Data Processor. Prior to that, she worked at The Associates for 2½ years; Studebakers for 15 years; and Preston Trucking for 15 years.

Dolores is survived by one sister, Rita M. Bicek of Michigan City, IN; one brother, John (Linda) Derucki of Fremont, OH; 14 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Dolores was a member of St. Stanislaus Parish in South Bend, IN, where she was a Eucharistic Minister at the church. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, where she served as treasurer for four years; a member of Studebaker Mary Ann Club; and Bendix Salaried Retirees Club.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where a Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, with Rev. Adam Booth, C.S.C. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
