Betty Jean (Alberts) Westfall

SOUTH BEND - Betty Jean Westfall, 62, of 2221 Rockne Drive, died at 9 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Westfall was born July 13, 1926, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On Oct. 4, 1946, in South Bend, she married James M. Westfall, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mary Joe Elias of South Bend; three sons, James M. Jr. of Chicago and George E. and Thomas A., both of South Bend; and 13 grandchildren.

She was a graduate of the former Central High School.
