Virginia B (Workman) Crain Ream

Virginia Ream, 94, a loving wife and mother, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in South Bend, Indiana. She was born on August 25, 1923, to Durwood M. and Paula V. (Lottie) Workman.

On May 3, 1946, she married Robert H. Crain, who preceded her in death. Together they raised three children, Dennis (who preceded her in death), Kevin and Karen. Virginia was a longtime member of Community Baptist Church of South Bend, where she and her daughter were baptized on July 13, 1969.

On May 26, 1990, Virginia married Jack W. Ream, who survives. She is also survived by her children, Kevin Crain and Karen (Michael) Christopher, and her step-children, Linda (Jim) Miller and David Ream. She adored her grandchildren, Robert (Doris) Crain, Kristine (Robert) Cook, Rachel Miller, David Lee (Angela) Ream, Aaron (Nicolette) White, and her great-grandchildren, Savannah, Zoe, Parker, Mason, Evan, Preston, Ashley, Abbey, Andrew, Bryson, and Kylie.

"Be good to each other" were her final words. Rest in peace, Mom, your work on earth is done.
