NORTH JUDSON - Services for Hubert Max Pugh, 62, of 108 W. Weninger St., who died about 11:40 Monday in his home after an illness, were to be at 11 a.m today in the chapel at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, where burial will take place. The O'Donnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mayo Foundation, Rochester, Minn.; Starke County Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor's choice.

Mr. Pugh was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Mexico, Ind., and moved to North Judson 36 years ago from South Bend. On Jan. 12, 1946, in South Bend, he married Jeanette McCombs.

She survives with two daughters, Sharon Ann Ray of Fort Wayne and Kathleen Birkel of Syracuse; three grandchildren; and his mother, Mildred Pugh of Nokomis, Fla.

Mr. Pugh was retired from Thermo Products, where he was a vice president and chief engineer. He was a member of North Judson Lodge 428 F&AM, the South Bend Scottish Rite, North Judson Kiwanis, Starke County Development Foundation and the National Society of Professional Engineers
