Mary S. Kundek Morey

MISHAWAKA - Mary S. Morey, 88, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 10:57 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, IN. She was born on June 30, 1922 to the late Albert J. and Anna (Kurey) Kundek in Chicago, IL, and has lived in the Michiana area since 1931, coming from Chicago.

Along with her parents; two sisters, Helen Deranek and Ann Uckotter also preceded her in death.

Mary graduated in 1940 from Central High School in South Bend. On August 9, 1947, as Mary S. Kundek, she married Donald E. Morey at Holy Cross Catholic Church in South Bend, IN. He passed away on January 4, 1997. She is survived by her sister, Irene Moss of Mishawaka, IN; and several nieces & nephews. Mrs. Morey was a member of Queen of Peace Parish in Mishawaka; and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
