Robert J. Carson

Services for Robert J. Carson, 62, of 917 W. Lawrence St., who died about 6 a.m. Tuesday in his home after an illness, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 1986, in St. Monica's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Bubb Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Heart Association

. Mr. Carson formerly worked in the leasing department of 1st Source Bank, after retiring in 1980 from Associates Financial Services of South Bend. He was born May 17, 1923, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On June 10, 1944, he married the former Doris M. Jewell in Waco, Texas. She died Nov. 13, 1983. He is survived by two sons, Kit R. of South Bend and John R. of Mishawaka; two grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Carlson of South Bend.

Mr. Carson was a member of St. Monica's Church and an Army veteran of World War II
