Mass of Christian Burial for Marilyn L. (Hagerman/Taylor) Detling, 99, of Willoughby, will be at 10 AM Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 37932 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.  Marilyn passed away July 5, 2023 in Willoughby. Born August 21, 1923 in Chicago, IL, she has lived in Lake County for the past 60 years.

Marilyn was a homemaker and secretary for the Willoughby-Eastlake School District.

Survivors include her son, Timothy (Mary) Detling; son-in-law, Paul Newman; grandchildren, Nicole, Timothy, Matthew, Benjamin, Jacob, and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Calysta, Eleanor, Henry, and Dandre.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles W. Detling and her daughters, Pamela A. Weiner and Merrilou Newman. Her son-in-law, Robert Weiner and granddaughter, Jane, are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp. Family suggests contributions be made to Immaculate Conception Church or Lake County Council on Aging Meals on Wheels Program, 8520 East Ave., Mentor, OH 44060
