Services for Robert Blacketter, 47, of 2411 S. 16th St., Niles, a teacher in the Warren Twp. School in Lydick who died Monwill be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Pifer Funeral Home, day, Niles. Rev. Douglas Vernon, pastor of the Brandywine Trinity United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Sumnerville. Friends, may call after 7 p.m. today the funeral home.

Mr. Blacketter was born 1921, in Logansport. He Dec. 6, Dec. 31, 1958. in was married. Ind., to Frances Matthews, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Jeffrey at home; and three stepdaughters, Lynette, Stacey, and Lou Ann all at home.

Mr. Blacketter was a veteran of WW II and a member of the National Ski Patrol.
