Leitha H. "Lee" (Wermuth) Brubaker

Leitha H. "Lee" Brubaker, 64. of 52602 Jackie Lane, died at 6:45 at Wednesday at St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mrs. Brubaker had been employed by South Bend Clinic and had retired after 17 years of service. She was born Dec 21, 1922, in LaCrosse. Wis., and had lived in South Bend since 1924. coming from LaCrosse.

On May I7. 1958 as Leitha H. Wermuth, in South Bend, she married Thomas R. Brubaker, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Berniece Molnar of South Bend; and a brother, LIoyd Wermuth of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p Friday at Welsheimer Funeral Home. 521 N. William St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. She graduated from the former Central High School. Thomas Commercial College and attended Indiana University at South Bend.

She was president and past board member of St Joseph's Medical Center Auxiliary with which she was active In the Life Line program; past President of the board of directors of Presbyterian Players; member and secretary of Michiana Camp Fire and recently was awarded that organization's Blue Ribbon Special Achievement Award.
