James E. Major
Funeral services for James E. Major, 35, of Rosemont, Minn.., formerly of South Bend, who died Tueday in the Farmington, Minn., Hospital after an apparent heart attack, will be held Saturday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rosemont, with burial In the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Bloomington, Minn. The White Funeral Home, Farmington, has charge of arrangements.
A memorial mass will be said at 7 p.m. Monday in Holy Cross Catholic Church here.
Mr. Major, who was an employee of the Federal Aviation Control Center in Farmington for nine vears, is survived by his widow, the former Rita Mackowski, formerly of South Bend; four sons, John, William, Daniel and Michael, and a daughter, JoAnne, all at home: his father, William A. Major, of South Bend; and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Temple' and Mrs. Gene Fodge, also of South Bend.
Mr. Major was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph's Church; in Rosemont.
