Services for John Edward Jordan, 52, of Spanish Fork, Utah, who died unexpectedly Feb. 7 in his home, will be Tuesday at Walker Mortuary, Spanish Fork. Burial will be at Salem, Utah. Memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice. He was a retired commander of the U.S. Navy and a retired captain of the Utah Air National Guard.
Born April 29, 1936, in South Bend, he graduated from the former South Bend Central High School in 1954. In 1960, in Salt Lake City, Utah, he married Ione Prentice, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Mary Jordan, Ruth Jordan, Susan Jordan and Elizabeth Jordan, all of Spanish Fork; two sons, David of Spanish Fork and Richard of Springville, Utah; two grandchildren; and two brothers, William of Charlotte, N.C., and Michael of Glen Ellyn, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Arthur Jordan of South Bend; and two brothers, Charles and Richard, also of South Bend
