Donald D. Dennig

Donald D. Dennig, 85, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 in Trail Point Village.

Don was born September 20, 1936 in South Bend to the late Casper and Irene (Baurerline) Dennig. He married Marilyn (Doran) Dennig, she preceded him in death on September 6, 2016. Don was also preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Harrises, Dee Vanderbosch; and brother, Tom Dennig.

Left to cherish the memory of Don are his children, Scott (Dawn) Dennig, Brian (Erin) Dennig, Chris (Tina) Dennig; grandchildren, Nicholas Dennig, Lauren Dennig, Dustin Dennig, Savannalouise Dennig, Kyle Dennig, Shaunamarie (Chad) Montgomery, Steven Dennig, Joshua Dennig, Tyler Dennig, Kaitlyn Smith, and Nathaniel Smith.

Donald was a great Euchre player…questionable at times. He enjoyed being out in the yard, playing ping-pong, drinking PBR and was a Notre Dame fan through and through. Don enjoyed spending time at Magician Lake with the family especially on the pontoon, but most of all dancing with his wife.

Visitation for Don will be 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2022 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Funeral Service that will begin at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will take place at a later date.
