Francis Kenneth Bueche. class 1954. Francis Kenneth Bueche May 8, 1936 - April 13, 2012 Francis Kenneth Bueche, 75, of Mishawaka, passed away at 12:15 pm, Friday, April 13, 2012 in his home surrounded by family. Ken was born on May 8, 1936, the son of Sylvester and Marigold (Mathison) Bueche. On April 28, 1962, he married Diane Boskey in South Bend. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Diane; three children, Kevin J. Bueche of Osceola, Debra L. (Kevin) Kuhl of Mishawaka and Keith M. (Lesa) Bueche of Granger; eight grandchildren, Cory (Lissi) Mohn, Anthony Kuhl, Jordan Kuhl, Devin Bueche, Madison Kuhl, Kasey Melnyk, Lexy Bueche, and Gavin Bueche. He is also survived by a sister in law, Doris Bueche of Granger, niece, Sherry Bueche, nephews, Ronnie and Rusty Bueche and extended family members, Judy Hums and Chris Carpenter. Ken was a proud graduate of South Bend Central High School, class of 1954. After high school, he served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1965. He worked for 30 years as a letter carrier before retiring and went on to work for Martin's Supermarket for another 10 years. Ken was a life member of the DAV and a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. He will be remembered for his love of bowling and watching Notre Dame Football. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Monday, April 16, 2012 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Aaron Leyes Scholarship Fund, 1202 LWW, Mishawaka, IN 46544 or the Center for Hospice Care, 111 Sunnybrook Ct., South Bend, IN 46637.
