In Memory
Nora Katherine (Early) Bramlett
November 15, 1936 ~ August 25, 2024 (age 87)
Nora Katherine Bramlett, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024, at the age of 87, in her hometown of South Bend, Indiana. Born on November 15, 1936, to the late Elza and Emma (Havaland) Early, in South Bend, she nurtured a life filled with devotion to her work and her family.
Earlier in her life Nora proudly contributed her diligent spirit to the Civil Air Patrol, Associates Investment Corporation, Schick Razor, and B&B Plastics, fully embracing both her high school education and her careers with professionalism and dedication.
Nora's life was a testament to her loving, kind, and thoughtful nature. She shared 68 cherished years with her husband, Jon Bramlett, and together they raised two sons, Scott (Marie) and Michael (Mary), both of South Bend. Nora's joy was multiplied by her eight grandchildren - Chelssie (Nick), Broc (Scha), Bridget (Hunter), Morgan, Leah, Lauren, James, and Maggie, and five great-grandchildren - Jada, Atley, Broxon, Harrison, and Keegan who will forever hold her in their hearts.
She is survived by her brother, Elza "Bob" Early of Mishawaka and is preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of her family. Years of motocross races, Saturday night dinners, weekend camping trips to Potato Creek, vacations to Branson, MO, and cheering on her beloved Notre Dame brought smiles and togetherness to all who knew her and her heart of gold. She loved to chance her luck at the Four Winds Casino…but to her family she will forever be their winning jackpot.
