David Richard Matthews

1932     ~     July 18, 2025

David Richard Matthews was born in 1932 in South Bend, IN on the Matthews family dairy farm, and died 7/18/2025 in Oro Valley, AZ. He graduated Central High School; served in the U.S. Army; graduated Purdue University as an EE with "highest distinction", then began his career at Bendix, after which he was with several laser and high tech companies. He was with McNamee Porter & Seeley for many years, retiring as a co-owner. He gathered many patents along the way.

Dave enjoyed many years with MI-ACEC and National ACEC, several Ann Arbor Rotary Clubs and the V.P. Club, and served as Deacon at the Congregational Church.

He leaves wife Judy, daughter Julie, granddaughter Chloe, son Brian, two sisters Ruth Joan and Mary Lee, and several Nieces and nephews.
