Raymond S. Kujawa

Raymond S. Kujawa, 80, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Raymond was born on December 18, 1931 in South Bend to Steve and Mary (Ewald) Kujawa, and was a lifelong resident. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

On June 30, 1956, in the former Sacred Heart Church on Thomas Street, he married Norma J. Van Outreve, who survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Sheri (Mike) Masterson of Woodland, California; and his sister, Gertrude Bystry of South Bend, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2012 in Corpus Christi Church. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 until 6 p.m. Sunday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a parish rosary will be prayed at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the American Diabetes Association.
