She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Austin.

Survivors include 2 sons, David Austin and wife, Karen, and Michael Austin, all of Vernon, FL; a daughter, Lori Anni Denneman and husband, Fred of Bonifay, FL; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorialization was by cremation with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay, FL directing. A memorial service was held Jul 28, 2005 at Unity Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Hall officiating.
