Mary Ann Kiska, 73, passed away at 6:20pm Thursday, January 19, 2006 at Our Lady of Peace Hospital in South Bend.

She was born on December 3, 1932 to the late Louis and Dorothy (Kaminski) Kiska in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident. Her mother died when she was one year old, so she was raised by her grandparents, Andrew and Anna (Wroblewski) Kiszka, whom she dearly loved.

Ms. Kiska retired on January 1, 1998 from the St. Joseph County Treasurer's Office, after 12 years of employment. Prior to that, she worked at The Associates for 25 years and then at Rink Printing Company.

She is survived by her two sisters, Dorothy (Al) DeRuyck of Colchester, VT; Larraine (Ron) Cress of Brighton, MI; five nieces & nephews; and several great nieces & nephews.

Mary Ann was a member of St. Hedwig Parish and M.R. Falcon's Club. She was very active in numerous card clubs, and was an avid Notre Dame Sports fan. Mary Ann graduated from Central High School in 1951.

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8pm Monday, January 23, 2006 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, with Rev. Leonard Chrobot officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Charity of the donor's choice
