Una Fay (Handlin) Taylor

Una Fay Taylor, 68, of Copperfield Drive, South Bend, Ind., died following a heart attack at 3:35 p.m. Friday, July 5, in Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 14, 1933, in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Her parents are Edward F. Handlin and Grace Hathaway. Una Fay was married in South Bend on Aug. 8, 1953, to Robert G. Taylor, who survives.

She was the loving mother of three sons, John E. of Indianapolis, Ind., Timothy R. of South Bend and Matthew A. of South Bend. There are 10 grandchildren and two sisters, Myra Jean Reece of New Port Richey, Fla., and Jacquelyn Faith Morgan of Dove Canyon, Calif.

She was a graduate of South Bend Central High School and served as a teacher's aide at Jefferson and Brown elementary schools. Una Fay will be remembered for her beautiful smile. upbeat, she was a kind, caring, person devoted to her family and friends.
