Roger Lee Corner

Roger L. Corner, 92, of South Bend, Indiana passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1933 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Ralph and Inez (Hartman) Corner. On January 1, 1955 he married Jacqueline A. Bourdon who preceded him in death on August 28, 2002. Roger was also preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Corner. He is survived by one daughter, Brenda L. (Lawrence) Jamie of Orlando, Florida, four sons, Randall L. (Luann) Corner of Newport, North Carolina, David M. Corner of Portland, Oregon, Douglas A. Corner of South Bend, Indiana and Michael D. Corner of Chino, California, six grandchildren, one great grandchild and one brother Kenneth Corner of Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania.
Roger was a United States Army Veteran. He was self employed at the Sunshine Holiday Laundry company. He also served on the Portage Township Fire Department as a volunteer for over thirty years. Private family burial was held at Highland Cemetery. Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
