Ronald K. Harris, a cherished husband and father, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, in South Bend, Indiana, at the age of 82. Born on December 24, 1941, to Roy and Ertice Harris who proceeded him in death.
Ronald graduated from Central High School and a United States Army veteran, soon after his time in the military he dedicated his life to the construction industry. His hard work and dedication as a construction worker were evident in the numerous projects he contributed to throughout his career.
On August 19, 1961, he was united in marriage to Marilyn (Steenbeke) Harris, they would go on to celebrate 63 years of marriage. Ronald was a loving and devoted husband. Together, they raised their daughter, Tamara Harris, who was the light of Ronald's life.
Ronald's an avid hunter, he spent many joyful hours in the serenity of nature. His collection of ducks was not only a hobby but a testament to his appreciation for wildlife. He was a former member of Holy Cross Church and St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church.
He will be deeply missed by his sisters Carolyn (John) Underhill, Judy Tovey, family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
