Andrew J. Connors, 40, of 19555 Pulling, died Sunday in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, after a 1 1/2 month illness. He was a masseur at the YMCA.

Born on Jan. 23, 1940, in South Bend, he had lived here all his life.

On June 23, 1963. he married Evelyn L. Auer, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Margaret Connors, of Mishawaka; a daughter, Nancy, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Schirf, of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Dorothy Aponas, of New Jersey: and two brothers, Francis and James, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday In the Guisinger Colonial Chapel. Charles Horlander, of the Jehovah Witnesses, will officiate. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday in the funeral home.

He was graduated from Valparaiso Technical Institute in 1962.
