Lionel Eugene "Gene" Anderson

CHAPIN Services for Lionel Eugene "Gene" Anderson, 56, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or to The Lowman Home, White Rock. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, in charge.

Mr. Anderson died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 1997. Born in South Bend, Ind., he was a son of M. Lionel Anderson and the late Geraldine, Workman.  He was president of Plus Tech and a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. He was active in Lake Murray Association and served as treasurer for three years.

Surviving are his wife, Aleda Hering Anderson; son, Steven (Tamara) Anderson of Kingston, Tenn.; son, David Anderson, graduate student at Arizona State University, Tempe, Ariz.; father and stepmother, Virginia Anderson, of South Bend; brother, Jim (Sally) Anderson of Atascadero, Calif.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Yvette Hering of Chapin; brother-in-law, Bruce Hering of Boonville, Calif.; and sister-in-law, Yvonne Hering of South Bend.
