Betty May (Minkoff) Schneider

Betty M. Schneider, 82, of Springfield, N.J., died on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014. The funeral will be held at Menorah Chapels, 2950 Vaux Hall Rd., Union, N.J., on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Memorial Park, U.S. Highway 1, Woodbridge, N.J.

She was the beloved wife of Harry Schneider for 62 years; mother of Randi, Justin and wife, Jennifer, Robert and wife, Meg; and loving grandmother of Alex, Samantha, Dylan, and Jordan. She was the beloved sister of Ted and the late Julius, Leonard, and Elsie Minkoff.

She was a retired employee of Bloomingdale's and longtime active member of Ruth Estrin Goldberg Memorial for Cancer Research. "Bubbe" was a remarkable homemaker, baker, and cook, whose family was her life.
