Donald Eugene Leets

DOWAGIAC Donald Eugene Leets, 48, of 306 Orchard, Dowagiac, was dead on arrival Saturday evening, May 12, 1979, at Lee Memorial Hospital, after suffering an apparent heart attack. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 this evening at McLauchlinClark Funeral Home, Dowagiac where friends may call.

Mr. Leets was born Sept.15, 1930, in South Bend, Ind. Survivors include his wife, the former Wanda Szymczyk; four daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Townsend, Merrill, Mich., Jennifer, Susanne and Melissa, all at home; two sons, Patrick of Dowagiac and Michael at home; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Louise Leets, South Bend; two sisters, Mrs. Elaine Snider and Mrs. Evelyn Malicki, both of South Bend; and two brothers, Howard and Richard, both of South Bend.
