Donald T. Woltman, 68, of Blaine Avenue, South Bend, Ind., died after an illness on Sunday, Feb. 22, in his home. Mr. Woltman was born on Nov. 30, 1929, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. He retired from Tucker Freight Lines as a driver. Mr. Woltman was an Army veteran and was a member of the local Teamsters Union.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Jannasch of Danville, Calif.; a son, Gary Woltman of South Bend; six grandchildren, Tayler and McKenna Jannasch, and Jason, Cary, Ian and Stephanie Woltman; a sister, Patricia Sobczak of South Bend; and by three brothers, Henry, Richard and Stanley Woltman, all of South Bend.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, with entombment to follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County
