Betty Lee (Shaw) Boaz

Betty Lee Boaz, 55, of Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend, died at 7:19 a.m. Thursday in Winona Hospital, Indianapolis, after an illness. Mrs. Boaz was born March 22, 1930, in Fairfield, Iowa, and lived in South Bend from 1945 to 1957.

On April 26, 1950, in Lawrenceburg, Ind., she married Robert B. Boaz, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, B. Gregg of Indianapolis, Brian of Louisville and Bruce of Lynchburg, Va.; a sister, Virginia Shaw of South Bend; a brother, Dick Shaw of Granger; and her mother, Mary Lee Shaw of South

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.

Mrs. Boaz was a graduate of Central High School.
