Charles R. Moore Sr.

Jan. 7, 1930 - April 30, 2001

Charles R. Moore Sr., 71, of Merrifield Ave., Mishawaka, passed away on Monday evening in Regency Place of South Bend. Charles was born in Mt. Vernon, Ill., on Jan. 7, 1930, to Aston and Jennie Moore.

Charles married Diane McPherson in New Carlisle, Ind., on April 18, 1958. She preceded him in death on Feb. 11, 2001.

Charles was an electrical engineer, owner and operator of Permavolt Inc., retiring in 1986, after 40 years of service. Charles was a member of the I.E.E.E.

Charles is survived by his son, Charles Moore of Mishawaka; two sisters, Betty L. Raven of Tarzana, Calif., and Deloris Finger of South Bend; one brother, Lee Moore of Lakewood, Colo.

Charles was preceded by his parents, Aston and Jennie Moore.

There will be no visitation. Cremation is to take place. The Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, is handling arrangements.
