Patricia Helmen Simpson, 54, of Cincinnati, formerly of South Bend, died at 3 a.m. Friday in Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati. Mrs. Simpson was born on Jan. 26, 1931, in South Bend, and lived in Cincinnati the past 12 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Catherine Simpson, Carolyn Wiseman and Martha Shepard, all of Cincinnati; a son, William J. of Cincinnati; two granddaughters; a brother, Frederick J. Helmen of South Bend; and her parents, Mary V. (Tobin) and Fred J. Helmen of South Bend.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. There will be private visitation. Arrangements are being handled at McGann Funeral Home, 2313 E. Edison Road.
Mrs. Simpson was a graduate of Central High School and attended Saint Mary's College
