After Joan Inwood graduated from Central High School, she chased her dreams and followed her heart to become an actress. Among her many travels throughout the United States and the world, Joan proudly lived in New York City for 50 years. Joan had the most beautiful spirit, as she was kind, thoughtful and very funny. She carried such positivity and such an amazing light, and had the most wonderful friends for a lifetime. She was incredibly talented, and loved singing, dancing, and performing under the stage name Joannie Mackenzie. She performed her very own cabaret show at the age of 73, and was still auditioning up until her death. Joan's memorial is being scheduled for Spring 2026.
