SOUTH BEND - Alvin B. Wylie, 67, of South Bend, died Monday, April 30, 2018. The Florence, AL native was born March 8, 1951 to (the late) Aaron & Bonnie (Jeffers) Wylie.
Alvin was a retired teacher, having spent most of his career at Stanley Clark School and St. Joseph High School. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Alvin is survived by his sister, Linda Bice of Edwardsburg, MI; nieces & nephews, Kevin (Debbie) Bice of Osceola, Bonnie Herman of Edwardsburg, and Brian Bice of Elkhart; great-nieces & nephews, Brandon Herman of South Bend, Nathan Herman & Jacob Herman, both of Elkhart, Cain Bice of Union, MI, Shelby Bice of Edwardsburg, Cayden & Brayden Bice, both of Osceola; and great-great-nieces, Lillia & Aubrielle Herman. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; his great-nephew, Cameron Bice; and his brother-in-law, Daniel Bice.
Funeral Services are 3:00 Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call Saturday from 1-3 pm in the funeral home.
