Ronnie Ellis Coleman Dec. 8, 1952 - Mar. 2, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Ronnie Ellis Coleman, a resident of Court of the Royal Arms, South Bend, Indiana, departed from this life on Monday, March 2, 2015, at Memorial Hospital at the age of 62. Ronnie's life began in South Bend, Indiana, on December 8, 1952, when he was born to the union of Perry Ellis and Bernadine (Tarver) Coleman.

He received a Bachelor's Degree from San Diego State University in 1975 and was employed as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. In addition, Ronnie was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 1977 after six years of service. Ronnie was a history buff who also loved spending time with his entire family and friends.

On September 14, 1991, Ronnie and Annie Young were united in matrimony. Loved ones who remain to cherish his memory include his wife, Annie; three daughters, Licia Gates, Arlington Heights, Illinois, Rhonda Williams-Griffin, Chicago, Illinois, and Lana Coleman, South Bend, Indiana; two sons, Marcus (Adrianne) Coleman, South Bend, Indiana, and Kai Ali Coleman, San Diego, California; ten grandchildren; one sister, Jo-Ann Coleman (Leon) Harris, Bellwood, Illinois; two brothers, Earl Coleman, Chicago, Illinois, and Kenny Coleman of California; and a special friend, Rita Lottie, South Bend, Indiana; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Ellis Coleman will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Alford's Mortuary, where arrangements have been entrusted.
