Gary M. Boorda

Gary Michael Boorda, 48, of Andrews Court, South Bend, Ind., died suddenly early Saturday, May 22, in his residence. Mr. Boorda was born on Oct. 31, 1950, in South Bend, to Sol W. and Anita F. (Feiwell) Boorda. His father preceded him in death in 1986.

He is survived by his mother, Anita F. Boorda of South Bend; his sister, Patricia A. (Alan B.) Rice of Germantown, Md.; his nephew, Jeffrey Adam Rice of Germantown; and by his uncle, H. Aubrey Feiwell of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

Mr. Boorda was a lifelong resident of the South Bend area, and had a great love of music.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today, May 25, in the Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, Mishawaka, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mr. Boorda to the charity of donor's choice. The Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Boorda.
