David W. Fleming Jr.

Jan. 28, 1942 - Nov. 5, 2002

David W. Fleming Jr. beloved and cherished husband, son, brother, uncle, who resided on Meadow Lane, Hazel Crest, Illinois, departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 5 of natural causes. On Jan. 28, 1942 in Indianapolis, Ind., he. was born to Hazel A. (Foxall) and David W. Fleming Sr.

After graduating from Central High School in South Bend, he served in the United States Air Force for four years. On July 25, 1965 he was united in wedlock to Janie M. Fleming and he moved to Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Fleming was employed by Electro Motive Division of General Motors of LaGrange, III. After working 30 years he retired.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Janie M. Fleming of Chicago; his father, David W. Fleming Sr. of South Bend; two sisters, Carol Ann Baker of South Bend and Rita Johnson of Scottsdale, Ariz. Also one brother James C. Fleming of South Bend, along with a host of relatives and a very good friend James Malone of Hazel Crest, Ill.

Loving family members who preceded Mr. Fleming in death, his mother Hazel A. Fleming and a brother, Charles M. Fleming.

Services for Mr. David Watson Fleming Jr. will be held Saturday Nov. 9 in the Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home, 1032 W. Washington St., South Bend. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Funeral service will begin.
