WANDA A. CARGILE MICHIGAN CITY, IN

Wanda A. Cargile, 87, formerly of Michigan City, IN, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 4:00 PM in Aperion Care - Valparaiso. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor Victoria Ubben officiating. Private entombment will take in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Serenity Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday and 11:00 AM -1:00 PM, Thursday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN. She was born February 26, 1929 in Muncie, IN to the late Clarence and Arlene W. (Hickman) Bellar, Sr. Surviving are a daughter, Diana (Richard) Dibkey of Chesterton, IN; Son, David (Ann Wiseley) Cargile of Novi, MI and Ann's children Sarah and Ethan; grandchildren: Brett (Maritza) Dibkey of St. Joseph, MI and Todd Dibkey of Chesterton, IN; and great grandchildren, Emma, Naia and Jacob Dibkey. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Bellar, Jr. Wanda had worked for Cynthia Hedge, Michigan City Police Dept., Tri-State Electric, Washington Park concession stand and Lakeshore Cleaners. She graduated from Central High School and was a proud Bearcat. Wanda enjoyed golfing, crocheting, sewing, playing bridge, going to the casino and spending time with her family. She also made a mean ham salad. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the care she received at Aperion Care - Valparaiso.
