Robert McFarlane

Robert McFarlane age 80, of Howard City, passed away May 9, 2015 at Metron of Cedar Springs. He was born February 7, 1935 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Ronald and Sarah (Hester) McFarlane. Bob attended Bowling Green University where he received his Masters degree in counseling. Bob worked for the State of Michigan for over thirty years. Robert enjoyed golfing and Tiger Baseball. He served his country in the US Air Force.

In 1964 he married Kathleen Tabor who survives. Also surviving are their children; Laura (Robert) Briggs of Caledonia, Chris McFarlane of Sand Lake; two grandchildren; two brothers, Jim McFarlane of CA, Bill McFarlane of South Bend, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ron and sisters Frances and Barbara.
