Ann Catherine "Cathy" Koblick, 69, of Springfield Court in Granger, Ind., passed away of natural causes Tuesday, March 30, in Elkhart General Hospital. Cathy was born May 22, 1934, to And-rew B. and Emma (Swensen) Johnsen in South Bend, Ind.

On May 5, 1973, Cathy married John J. Koblick Jr. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in South Bend. John survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Sheryl Eaton and her husband, John of Arizona, Deborah Watson, and Vickie Maguire and her husband, Michael, both of Mishawaka, and Janet Mathia and her husband, Roger of South Bend; a stepson, John J. Koblick III of South Bend; as well as 10 grandchildren, Amanda, Andrea, Adam Watson, Nichole, Andrew Maguire, Amber, Ben, Hannah, Mathia, Christopher and Morgan Koblick; as well as a great-grandchild, Nathan. Two sisters, Dorothy Finneran of South Bend and Virginia Smith of Cassopolis, Mich., also survive. Preceding Cathy in death were her parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Mable and Ted Ritenberg; three brothers, Ray Johnsen, Robert Johnsen and Lloyd Johnsen; along with a grand-daughter, Angela Watson.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 2, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, Ind. Services will be conducted by Pastor David Doane at 10 am. Saturday, April 3, in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 51900 Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN 46628. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Mrs. Koblick was a graduate of South Bend Central High School, class of 1953. She was employed as a consultant for Avon for 10 years, before her retirement in 1988. Cathy enjoyed crocheting and playing pool, fishing, dancing to polka music, and listening to records. Some of her very favorite pastimes were taking a ride in her car to watch the sunset, and spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Randay. Cathy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
