Nancy C. Huff, 89, died on February 4, 2025. She was born in Coldwater, Michigan on September 19, 1935, to the late Walter and Mildred Cook.
Nancy was a teacher and homemaker. She was proud that she graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Elementary Education at age 50. Nancy was a member of the Boyle County Homemakers and volunteered at The Amen Corner at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Reality Store, and with Ephraim McDowell Auxiliary where she worked in the gift shop and made pillows for patients in recovery through the program Pillowtalk.
Nancy worked in adult education through the Danville-Boyle County Urban League. One of her greatest loves was being involved in 4-H. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nancy attended Centenary Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.
In addition to her parents Nancy was predeceased by her husband Douglas Huff, son, David Aaron Huff, and a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Nancy Cook.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Stephen Michael (Jeannine) Huff, Thomas Mark (Libby) Huff, Timothy William (Terri) Huff, and Jonathan Andrew Huff, daughters, Amy Elizabeth Huff Ely and Amanda Jane Huff, sister, Marcia (the late Jim) Buzalski, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 1 pm on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Rev. Chris Morgan will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to 4-H Youth Development.
