Central 1959 Jeanne Lou (Chambers) Wiesinger

SOUTH BEND - Jeanne Lou Wiesinger, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother died unexpectedly on April 9, 2016 at the age of 75 in her home.

Jeanne is survived by her husband of 55 years Leo Wiesinger; her children, Leo, Paul (Debbie), Heather, and David (Michelle) Wiesinger of South Bend, Carolyne Wiesinger (John) of Chesterton, Jennifer Pauwels of Lake City, Florida and Michelle Kehoe (Larry) of Mishawaka; fifteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Bertram Chambers; two brothers, Edgar and Michael Chambers; and a sister, Ilene Osborn.

Jeanne was born in South Bend, Indiana on January 13, 1941 to Beatrice and Bertram Chambers. She graduated from Central High School in South Bend and eventually moved to Kansas where she met and married Leo Wiesinger on November 7, 1960. They later returned to South Bend where they made their home. Jeanne retired form Saint Paul's Retirement Community where she worked for many years.

Jeanne was an avid reader, talented artist, and loved writing poetry. She enjoyed Notre Dame Football games, watching Jeopardy and watching the History Channel. She also loved spending time with her children and her beloved bird Mojo. She will be deeply missed by friends and family.
