MISHAWAKA -- Leonard Gale Norris II, 50, of 12221 Penn Road, died Monday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, following a motorcycle-car accident at Van Buren and Diamond avenues at 10:45 p.m. Sunday.
Survivors include a daughter, Tina Kline of Granger; two sons, Leonard G. III of Mishawaka and Christopher of South Bend; his mother, Evelyn Bueche of Mishawaka; four sisters, Nancy Harrington of Osceola, Sandy Glossenger and Carol Behrens, both of Granger, and Dona Riege of Cassopolis; and a brother, Ronald of Elkhart.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 5 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Motorcyclist dies after crash
SOUTH BEND--Leonard G. Norris, 50, of the 12200 block of Penn Road, Mishawaka, died about 8 p.m. Monday in the intensive care unit in Memorial Hospital after being involved in a motorcycle-car accident at VanBuren and Diamond avenues about 10:45 p.m. Sunday.
He died of severe head injuries, said Charles Hurley, St. Joseph County coroner.
Norris was driving a motorcycle that was traveling east on VanBuren, police said.
According to police reports, Norris disregarded a stop sign at the intersection of Diamond and his motorcycle was struck by a southbound car driven by Terrance F. Wells, 33, of the 1000 block of Barberry Lane, South Bend.
Norris, who suffered severe head injuries, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which may have been a factor in the seriousness of his injuries, said Cpl. William Kraus, who is investigating the accident.
"The rest of his injuries really weren't that serious," Kraus said.
Kraus added Norris was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
No charges were immediately filed and the case will be sent to the county prosecutor's office for review, Kraus said.
Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, is in charge of arrangements for Norris.
