William Lorris Borough

William L. Borough, of Deerfield Beach and most recently of Boca Raton, FL, passed away January 27th 2016 at age 90. William "Bill" was born August 14th 1925 in South Bend, IN and spent summers at Diamond Lake, Michigan. He attended Central HS in South Bend and enlisted in the US Navy during WWll as an Electricians Mate 3rd Class on the USS PGM 31. He graduated from Kalamazoo College and worked for Bendix as a Senior Chemist. Bill married Virginia O'Boyle in 1951 and was married for 65 years. Bill retired to Deerfield Beach in 1978 and worked as an artist, was involved in the Hillsboro Inlet Sailing Club, Deerfield Beach Computer Club and the Lighthouse Point Library. Bill was preceded in death by his daughter Helen. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, daughters Mary Borough, Carol Perez, Alice Ahrens and Son-in-Law Art Ahrens, grandchildren Kent Squiers, Sarah Mick, Duke Ahrens, Francisco and Melisa Perez, great grandchild Dylan Mick. Bill's life will be honored by the family in a private celebration at a later date.
