Carol Lyn Seiber

Carol (Nelson) Seiber died on Wednesday, Oct. 27, in Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph, Mich. Carol was born in South Bend, Ind., on May 26, 1942.
On July 19, 1996 in St. Joseph, she married Bob Seiber, who survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Lisa (JR) Eyerly of Benton Harbor; two sons, Mike (Tina) Nelson of Stevensville, Mich. and Shawn (Amy) Nelson of Kalamazoo, Mich.; three grandchildren, Aaron, Brittney, and Jared; two sisters, Sharon (Keith) Foster and Sue (Ralph) Lee; a brother, John Town; one brother-in-law, Dorwin Nelson; and by her parents, Forbes Town and Dorothy Gee, both of South Bend.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Town.
Carol was employed as a secretary at Lakeshore High School. Carol was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and the students, staff and administration at Lakeshore High School.
Visitation was held on Sunday, Oct. 31 at Kerley & Starks Funeral Home, 802 Main Street, St. Joseph.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. today, Nov. 1, in the Chapel at Kerley & Starks Funeral Home, with Rev. Barry Sommerfeld officiating. Cremation will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran School and Day Care, 613 Court Street, St. Joseph or to Lakeshore High School, 5771 Cleveland Avenue, Stevensville, Mich.
